Kob Khoon krub! Montien Riverside Hotel. See you by weekend! |
We headed on our way for an almost three-hour travel to Hua Hin. We spent most of the days of our week here. On our way, we witnessed the lifestyle in the outskirt of the city – it’s simple also and their being devoted to their royal family seemed to be very obvious as most of the establishments & residents have their own golden “altar” to honor the king & the queen.
Hua Hin is well known as a tourist destination because of its nice beaches & hotels. This little district is very lovely and organized. No wonder that we have seen a lot of foreigners enjoying their stay in the place. This is the favorite resting place of Thailand's royal family.
We stayed in Marriot Hotel for our first day. The hotel’s motif has a touch of Thai’s creativity as its lobby has some nice work of Thailandish arts. We were amazed with their small pond at the side of the lobby. It has a man-made waterfalls. We were given welcome drinks and hot scented towels to freshen up. The hotel is along the sea shore with very fine sand. It felt like we’re having a vacation as the place is so relaxing.

While waiting for our keys, we took the chance to try their huge bamboo hammock. Very cool! |

The assigned room for me is the closest room to the beach so I have a very nice view over the veranda.
