Baguio Escape -- Cafe by the Ruins

Day 1 in the cold Baguio and it was raining a bit but that cannot spoil our trip! We woke up earlier as expected in preparation for our official tour.

We based our D1 itinerary from the web so we expected it to be a “wow” and affordable. The café is nice and lovely with its garden set-up but we can hardly see the said ruins until the waiter pointed it out to us. Whoa!

They have these breakfast combo of Filipino dishes such as the famous “tapsi’s” including fried “danggit”. Looks yummy & it tasted even better but the price is unexpected. It’s higher than the usual so we were a bit disappointed and we ended up limiting our orders to one serving each & nothing else – our instinct told us that we’re full enough to have some more! We then concluded that this place is for the foreign tourists and not for us – local adventurers. So to compensate, we took pictures from almost all area of the place. "Sulit na 'di ba?".
